5 Fantastic Fall Pies
By Angie McGowan |
At my home we love to make pies. I have my favorites for every season, but fall has to be my most favorite time of the year to make pies. When I was a kid my mom’s favorite fall pie was pumpkin. She started making them in mid-September, and didn’t stop till mid-December. She made them with less sugar and double the amount of eggs in an effort to make them a little more healthy and we’d eat a slice for breakfast. I can’t tell you how many times I ate pumpkin pie in the car on the way to school. Now you’d think that would make a kid sick of pumpkin pies, and any other type of fall pies for that matter. But not me, I just love them that much more.
I’ve put together my favorite 5 pie recipes that you just have to try below.
