There are many families who will make and enjoy a big hearty lasagna on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day this weekend. In my family, I love to make a big lasagna on Christmas Eve when we have a lot of family coming in from out of town. And if we go to my aunt’s house on Christmas Day, she always makes a big lasagna for the family. It’s not a tradition we grew up with, but one that we’ve adapted in the past few years. Everyone absolutely loves it. I love that it’s a one dish dinner and a super easy way to feed a crowd. And let’s not forget that you can make it ahead of time too. For sides, I simply make some fresh garlic bread and a large family style salad.
