The addition of small amounts of alcohol to popular desserts such as cupcake and popsicles can give them a whole new flavor. For example, the other day I was at a friend’s house and she served us stewed fruit with a splash of rum and it was heaven. The rum deepened the flavors of the fruit and gave it a mellow sweet taste. I looked around The Family Kitchen eager to try more alcohol infused summer desserts and found quite a few. These are the ones that really stand out to me and I think I am going to try soon!
