Because we are welcoming a new little one sometime this month, I am already thinking about ways I will lose the baby weight by this summer. Not only do I need to shed a few pounds, I also will need to get back in shape with a trainer. Part of the way I will lose the weight is by eating well. I am not going to start off with some crazy diet, but I am going to dial back the heavy casseroles and focus on winter greens, lean proteins, and easy soups. Here are a few dishes I have in mind for starting off my baby weight loss journey!
Angel Hair Soup 1 of 7This simple soup is perfect for a tired mama to make. It is nourishing, low calorie and comes together in mere minutes!

Chicken Lettuce Wraps 2 of 7Chicken is a great lean protein and this dish keeps it on the lighter side by wrapping chicken in lettuce instead of tossing it with heavy pasta or thick breads.

Turkey Burgers with Pesto 7 of 7I always love a good burger and a turkey burger with pesto is much lighter than a beef burger with bacon. Plus, these can easily be made on the stovetop during the cold winter months.
