Grits are a staple in Southern cuisine. I’ve been eating them for as long as I can remember. So long that I think it might have been one of the first foods my Mom fed me as a baby. There’s just something soothing about a warm bowl of creamy grits. To get you inspired to stir up a batch of this creamy goodness we’ve compiled 7 tasty ways to cook with grits, from the basic, can’t-go-wrong cheese grits to a grits trifle to the must-try shrimp and grits. We even have grits you can make in your crock pot (or slow cooker), and you can find them all after the jump.
