7 Ways to Enjoy Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt has become pretty popular over the last few years. New flavors are popping up in grocery stores all the time and so are new recipes and ideas to incorporate Greek yogurt into our daily diets. My favorite way to enjoy Greek yogurt is to mix it (preferably lemon flavored but I enjoy plain as well) with fresh blueberries or strawberries and sliced almonds. I usually have this for breakfast or for a post workout snack, it’s delicious and so refreshing.

So what’s so good about Greek yogurt? Well, for one thing, it’s definitely high in protein. You will typically find that a serving of Greek yogurt has significantly more protein than regular yogurt, which makes it a great option for someone who struggles with getting enough protein in daily. The texture of Greek yogurt is thicker and creamier than regular yogurt which makes it a great alternative for sour cream and mayo, and also gives it more of a dessert-like quality if serving along side fruit or other sweet treats.

If you have never tried Greek yogurt or are looking for new ways to incorporate it into your daily diet, check out these 7 delicious ways to enjoy Greek yogurt here on Family Kitchen…
