I almost forgot about the spicy deliciousness that is Chai, it’s a milky sweet tea loaded with Indian spices. The only thing I love more than sipping a glass of chai is baking with it. I found a recipe for chai monkey bread (seriously, how could I NOT make it?!) and my family and I devoured it for brunch. The kids loved picking off the rolls and chowing down and we couldn’t get enough of the chai flavor. Why do I save chai recipes for winter? This recipe was perfect on a warm sunny day. The chai flavor has a hooked and craving more recipes. Thankfully, I remember lots of recipes my fellow family kitchen cooks have created using chai so we will be making lots more this spring – even a chai ice cream and smoothies for those really warm days!
