Time to plan your Labor Day BBQ feast, as it’s this coming weekend. Snuck up on you, didn’t it?! It sure snuck up on me! That’s why I went searching for great marinades for all the meat we are going to be grilling up this weekend. Yes, we are making multiple meats. We’ve got ribs and steak and chicken and shrimp lovers (my kids especially love shrimp), so I’ve got everyone covered. In staying on top of things I even purchased some meat a few days ago, covered it with the marinade, and froze it. Freezing it in the marinade allows the flavors to really get into the meat and helps to protect it against freezer burn. Plus, that part is already taken care of when we’re ready to cook. Now all I have to do is pop it out of the freezer and let it defrost.
