I’m one of those crazy people who has decided to eat healthier around the hardest time of the year. I don’t know what got into me, but just the thought of gaining five to eight more pounds during the holidays was enough to throw me into a health craze. Even if you’re not on a health kick, it’s always satisfying to know that you just devoured a plate of holiday goodness that was healthy.
Don’t think, however, that just because it’s healthy it’s going to taste like sand. One of my favorite parts about serving healthy recipes to family and friends is following the meal with, “You won’t believe this recipe is actually good for you” or “You won’t believe how low in fat this meal is.”
