While it is a lot of fun to fill up the Thanksgiving table with heavy potato dishes and baked casseroles, it can also be fun to add some whole grains to the mix. I know it is not entirely traditional to do so, but things like brown rice salads and couscous could have a place at Thanksgiving, too. We happen to be big fans of couscous in this house so this year I might toss it with roasted fall vegetables for Thanksgiving. I am also considering a nutty rice salad. Here are some terrific whole grain recipes that are both tasty and healthy and would make a great addition to any Thanksgiving table.
