Smoothies in the morning and in the afternoon. Smoothies in the evening and underneath the moon. My daily obsession with all things smoothie has caused my kids to officially declare this the “summer of smoothies.” It’s not a bad thing, to be sure, especially when the days are filled with treats like this date-sweetened strawberry number that tastes as good as any milkshake.
6-ounce container low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 banana, sliced and frozen
8 Bard Valley Natural Delights Medjool Dates, pitted and chopped
½ cup ice
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Sip immediately.
