With summer finally, really here, I’ve found the tempo of life has slowed down quite a bit. Our busy weekends have transformed with laid-back, relaxing days and fun nights spent cooking out with friends. In fact, I could really get used to this!
For summer entertaining we like to keep things simple, but Brian and I also like to add something special, and lately, that something has been sangria. Fresh fruit and a hint of brandy turn an everyday glass of rosé into a full-on summer cocktail. This version has a little sparkle and heaps of summer strawberries, but the great thing about sangria is that you can always improvise with whatever fruits or types of wine you have around.
