An American Sandwich in ParisSara O'Donnell
I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised if I told you that everything I ate while visiting Paris was spectacular. You wouldn’t be shocked if I told you everything was outstanding. But you might roll your eyes if I told you they even make a better Club Sandwich than us.
The Club Sandwich my husband and I shared in Paris (top of post) inspired, what I like to call, The BLD, or Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Sandwich.
In Paris, our Club had thick cut grilled chicken, not thinly sliced turkey. In Paris, our Club had a fried egg, over hard.
I don’t know about you, but no Club Sandwich I’ve ever enjoyed across our great 50 states has had an egg. Pairing chicken and egg with all the usual Club Sandwich fixings got inside of my head and had to find it’s way back into my belly.
Watch the video to see how I make The BLD and tell me, where have you traveled and found food inspiration? Share your creations in the comments.
