Apple Cider French Onion Soup

The other week I had a head cold which was no fun. Of course, what made it worse wasn’t that I was so congested, it was that I can’t take any cold medicine because I am pregnant. Ahhh!! So, in light of this, I turned to as many home remedies I could think of. I must have drank gallons of hot tea, buckets of soup, and taken a dozen hot showers. One of the soups I liked the most was this awesome french onion soup. I made it on a whim since I was craving something with a strong flavor, and I added some natural apple cider to cut the acidic onions and give it a natural sweetness.

If you have a head cold this month I highly recommend trying this delicious soup. You’ll love the flavor and hopefully it will help you feel better like it did for me!
