Bacon wrapped Dates stuffed with Pistachios and Cheese (video)

By Nicole Presley |

Just one more weekend of playoffs then we have the SuperBowl to look forward to.  What do you usually make for the big game?  I make whatever is easy, as long as my man has something to shove into his trap then we are all good.  I decided this year I was going to try and make him feel a little fancy pants and make an appetizer that would please the people (visitors that migrate to my home during this time of year) with an advanced palate as well. Who am I kidding? This appetizer will please anyone with taste buds. Try it! Love it! Enjoy the game!

Ingredients for Pistachio and Cheese Stuffed Dates wrapped in Bacon:

  • 16 – medjool dates
  • 1/4 – cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 – cup goat cheese
  • 17 -  pistachios (shelled and chopped)
  • 4 – stalks green onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 – teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning salt
  • 1/4 – teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 – slices bacon (cut in half)
