If you’re like me, Barnes & Noble may already appeal to you, but the question is what is it doing on the Family Kitchen? Cookbooks, my friends. Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite places to shop for cookbooks. Not only do they have a wide variety and fantastic selection, but there’s something about being able to flip through them, see them and feel them that makes me love shopping for them there.
I’m a pretty visual person when it comes to cookbooks, so I like my cookbooks to be nice and bright and illustrative. I want to know what it is I’m purchasing because the visual appeal of them often seals the deal on whether or not I’ll continue to use it year after year. Not that there aren’t ugly cookbooks that I go back to also. They’re just few and far between.
Here are a few of my favorite cookbooks at the moment to get you started:
- The Pioneer Woman Cooks
- Deliciously Organic
- Cook’s Illustrated Soups, Stews and Chilis
- Eat Well
- Steamy Kitchen
- The Flavor Bible
- Cook’s Illustrated: New Best Recipe
- Perfect One Dish Dinners
- Desserts 4 Today
