Baseball Madness: Big League Nachos with Homemade Cheese Sauce

Big League Nachos via Babble.com

What time of year of it? World Series season! I wish I could be watching them in person this year because I love the feeling of sitting in the stands during the actual series games. In fact, I love going to ballparks in general. When I am there my favorite thing to indulge in is nachos. I am ridiculously addicted to nachos and for some reason they always taste so much better at ballparks. I usually stick with cheese sauce and one topping. As an homage to the baseball season I am missing this year I recently made our favorite nachos at home and topped them with adorable pepperoni baseballs!

Big League Nachos with Homemade Cheese Sauce

1 bag tortilla chips

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 pinch kosher salt

1 1/2 cups 1% milk

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar

1. In a small sauce pan whisk the melted butter with the flour and pinch of salt over medium-low heat. Then whisk in the milk until smooth, then add in the cheese and stir until completely melted.

2. Pour the bag of chips in a large, shallow bowl. Drizzle with hot cheese sauce.

3. Set
