We’re only two days into summer in New York (and in your town, too, assuming you’re in the Northern Hemisphere) and the heat is already brutal. There are only two things to do when it’s this hot: complain about how hot it is and eat something icy cold. And for icy cold refreshment, nothing beats sorbet. A few weeks ago we went out for ice cream on a hot day and everybody else got ice cream but I got sorbet, which because it has no milk is just so much more pleasant when it’s hot out.
