Bellini: The quintessential Italian Cocktail

A bellini is the quintessential Italian cocktail. It actually might surprise you to know how easy it is to make. A traditional Bellini is made using white peach puree, Prosecco and sometimes a dab of cherry juice to give it that glorious glow. This genius of a drink was first concocted by Giuseppe Cipriani, the founder of the infamous Harry’s Bar in Venezia {Venice}.

I have put a twist on this traditional cocktail by concocting a frozen version. It’s refreshing, beautiful and oh so peachy. Perfect for parties or just because !

If you don’t happen to have Prosecco you can substitute champagne. Or if you’d like to make it a mock-tail you can simply substitute sparkling cider for the Prosecco or Champagne!

When you’re ready to mix up you’re own, here’s my RECIPE.

Cheers! or Salute in Italian.
