Breakfast in 5: Hawaiian Waffle Sandwich

Sometimes you just gotta shake up your mornin routine. But, who has time to do the shakin’? Mornings can be uber hectic, so it’s easier to go with your old standby’s than take the time to create something new and clever. This simple waffle sandwich is a great twist on traditional breakfast ingredients sitting in your kitchen, and takes less than 5 minutes to whip up. You’re going to love it!

Hawaiian Waffle Sandwich

  • 2 toasted waffles
  • 1 slice ham
  • 1 slice pineapple
  • 1 slice swiss or American cheese
  • sprinkle of powdered sugar

Stack all ingredients together to form a sandwich, with your waffles standing in as “bread.” Microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
