Build a Better Panino: Not your average Roast Beef Sandwich

Roast Beef Sandwich

Today in our build a better panino series we’re showcasing Roast Beef. As we like to point out, sandwiches don’t have to be bland. They can go from boring to scoring with the simple addition of a variety of flavors and textures.

Our roast beef sandwich isn’t your regular roast beef sandwich. It starts out with an incredibly beautiful Ciabatta bread base. The bread is just as important as the filling, so make sure that it’s not an afterthought ; )  Then we layer on the flavor. Starting with a horseradish/caper sauce. The capers really lend to the flavor but if you’re not crazy about them, just leave them out.

It’s topped with thinly sliced roast beef and provolone cheese {that’s melted to perfection}. Caramelized onions and roasted red bell peppers follow shortly thereafter.

And then for the unexpected, a generous topping of fried sweet potato strings. They add a beautiful texture and crunch to this flavorful sandwich. You’ll probably want to make an extra batch of these because they’re that tasty ; )

All of these flavors come together to make one smashing sandwich! Roast Beef Sandwich
