Cadbury Mini Egg Sugar Cookies in 5 Minutes

Cadbury Mini Egg Cookies

The other day my daughter wanted to make Easter cookies but I simply had NO TIME! Instead of stressing out I reached for the lowest hanging fruit and came up with a way to doctor up pre-made cookie dough. We took our favorite mini eggs and spread them out on the counter top. Then, we assembled the cookie dough on a lined cookie sheet as instructed by the packaging. We pressed three mini eggs into the top of each on and sprinkled some sea salt on top for an extra elegant touch. The result were these totally delicious cookies that are perfect for Easter and came together in minutes!

Cadbury Mini Egg Sugar Cookies

1 package pre-made sugar cookie dough (we used Nestle Toll House)

2 dozen, or more, Cadbury Mini Eggs

Fine sea salt

1. Scoop the cookie dough onto lined cookie sheets as instructed. Then, press the mini eggs into the top of each one. Sprinkle just a touch of sea salt on top of each cookie and bake them according to instructions.

2. Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack until room temperature. Serve!
