Candy Corn Cookies

Late last night I remembered that I committed to providing Candy Corn Cookies for a Halloween Party at School.  I saw the idea in the October edition of Yum Food & Fun For Kids and was excited to try making these cuties.

Believe it or not, this recipe is created from two packages of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix as well as some simple additions….

By simply adding butter, eggs, flavorings and food coloring, you can create this impressive addition to any party.  These cookies will take you a bit longer to make than straight out of a bag/box cookies but Halloween is a special occasion. To break up the work, you do refrigerate the dough before cutting it (I chilled it overnight).

Note that these cookies are on the small size, which is fine by me since you there is less guilt after eating one two.
