Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwiches: Spicy, Tangy, & Awesome


Spring is the start of barbecuing season, but sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate. If it’s too cold or too wet to get your smoker going, or if you just don’t have time or space for an actual smoker, that’s no reason you can’t have excellent North Carolina-style pulled pork sandwiches.

Slow-cooked pulled pork, a spicy North Carolina-style sauce, and some cole slaw make for a truly awesome sandwich. With a little sweetness, a little heat, and plenty of vinegar, these pulled pork sandwiches are a taste of heaven.
