I had the opportunity to meet one of my culinary idols, Sara Moulton, at Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert last weekend. Moulton’s direct approach to teaching and no-nonsense way of explaining methods and ingredients has taught me so much over the years. So, it should come as no surprise that her answer to, “What’s the most important thing to remember when cooking for kids?” is just as direct.
Watch Sara Moulton’s quick dish on Cooking For Kids and share your best (or funniest) advice for cooking with kids in the comments.
And in case you missed it, check out celebrity chefs Giada De Laurentiis, Jet Tila and Fabio Viviani talk Cooking For Kids at The Taste and share your advice!
This segment on Cooking For Kids is part of a longer interview featuring Sara Moulton from Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert 2012.
The Asian Chicken Salad Cup (above) from Escena Golf Club in Palm Springs was just one of the many delicious things we devoured at Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert.
