Cimarusti’s latest restaurant venture, Connie & Ted’s, gives an insight into the chef’s love of family.

I had the opportunity to meet legendary chef and Los Angeles local, Michael Cimarusti at the annual food festival, The Taste, presented by Los Angeles Times.

Following a sweltering afternoon of talking sustainable farming and preparing a salmon dish for a live audience on the Paramount Pictures backlot, the Providence LA chef-owner has some solid, humorous advice for parents.

Cimarusti is the father of two, and family is clearly important. His latest endeavor, Connie & Ted’s is named after his grandparents.
