Chicago Snow Storm 2011: Soups to Keep You Warm

The Chicago Snow Storm of 2011 has made the city nearly shut down. The snowstorm has caused white out conditions that have made travel nearly impossible. With all the snowfall last night, it has become the third largest snow storm in Chicago’s history. If a few more inches fall today, just 3.5 inches, it will be the biggest one day snowfall in Chicago’s history. The snowstorm has produced high winds that have caused damage across the city, and even to Wrigley field. The good news is though, the end of the storm is in sight according to forecasters. But until it passes and with everyone stuck inside on this cold winter day, you’ll need some fabulous soup recipes to keep you warm. Here at the Family Kitchen we have compiled a list of our favorite soups to keep you warm and cozy today.
