A little bit of chocolate goes a long way in this light and healthy cherry smoothie recipe. Brimming with the rich bitterness of cocoa and cacao nibs, with the delicious sweetness of bananas, dried cherries, and bright cherry juice, this smoothie is sure to give your afternoon a big boost.
Chocolate Cacao Nib Cherry Smoothies
serves two to four
2 cups Greek yogurt
1 cup unsweetened cherry juice
1 cup ice
1 banana (frozen for a frostier smoothie)
1/4 cup dried cherries (I used unsweetened)
1/4 cup cacao nibs
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Combine all of the ingredients in your blender and pulse until smooth. Add additional cherry juice as needed.
