There is something just so wrong… but so right about chocolate covered potato chips. Years ago, Neiman Marcus offered both white chocolate and dark chocolate covered Pringles-style chips in an elegant container. They were beautiful and yummy. They were also perfectly coated in chocolate and many home versions may not look as refined but they are so good.
I’ve made several varieties of chocolate covered chips, varying the recipes. I like the recipe on the Pioneer Woman Tasty Kitchen website. It’s simple and the addition of little chocolate chips or sprinkles add a nice touch. Or look at this recipe that includes both white and dark chocolate and has little decorations on each chip.
In fact, you can use a variety of chocolate. I like to fill a bowl full of both dark or milk and white chocolate covered chips. Guests at your next party won’t be able to stop eating them! If you’re really feeling creative, you can dip other crunchy snacks like pretzels in chocolate too. It’s hard to go wrong when you combine chocolate with salt and a little crunch!
