Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Hearts

Guess what I found!! Pink marshmallows, shaped like hearts in a big bag, for only about a dollar! They’re from none other than the Jet Puffed folks over at Kraft, and they are my new favorite. Aren’t they cute? They would be perfect for the end of a romantic dinner, served with chocolate fondue.

For today, though, I wanted to dip them in chocolate. Perfect for a little gift for friends, or or for the kids’ Valentine’s Day parties, they’re fun and easy to make, even for the kids.

Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Hearts

3 ounces white chocolate (I like Baker’s white chocolate squares)
3 ounces semi sweet chocolate

Melt each kind of chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 30 second intervals, stirring well after each interval. Place a marshmallow heart into the chocolate and cover with chocolate. Use a fork to pull the marshmallow out. Shake off excess chocolate. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat until chocolate is gone. Refrigerate until set. Eat the rest of the marshmallows.
