Homemade Foodie Gifts Series #2: Cinnamon Honey Butter

By aggieskitchen |

I can attest to you that this Cinnamon Honey Butter makes a great holiday gift. My good friend made several batches of this recipe last year over the holidays and my family was lucky to receive a jar of our own. We used this butter on everything….biscuits, waffles, toast, it was delicious!!

For those of you thinking ahead and looking for ideas on homemade gift giving ideas, this recipe is simple and a great one to have on hand.

Cheryl, the Tidy Mom, shares the recipe for Cinnamon Honey Butter along with a great tutorial on how to package up this butter into pretty gift jars just like you see in the picture. From experience, make sure to make an extra batch…your friends will be asking you for more!

Just throwing this out there, I must not understand– it says to keep it refrigerated but served at room temp– should I keep it in the fridge until I give it out? And then should I tell them to keep at room temp? Could someone clarify for me? Thanks!

Treat it as you would regular butter, so yes, keep refrigerated…however for spreading purposes it’s better to let it soften up a bit so let it sit out for a bit until its spreadable. If you wanted you could even spoon out a small amount that you need and put in a small serving bowl or plate (if serving at a dinner).

      Enjoy, thanks!!
