Now that it’s officially summer, we’re enjoying all of the sweet seasonal fruits that accompany the season. Strawberries, peaches, blueberries, and raspberries have been keeping us busy for weeks. I have also enjoyed using the season’s bounty to make a host of healthy, naturally sweet treats. I like to have cold, healthy treats on hand for quick, cooling snack after time spent out on the heat. From sorbet to smoothies to popsicles, we’ve got a host of easy recipes for summer treats kids, and adults, will love.
Aside from the sorbets, we’re featuring recipes that have very little added sugar. Sorbet requires sugar and/or alcohol to stay smooth, but feel free to experiment with reduced-sugar approaches.
