My husband has been requesting this pie for a few months, so since yesterday was Father’s Day, I went ahead and made it for him. This is a super easy pie that I’ve been making for years. This time I made it with Double Stuff Oreos, which made it doubly good. I combined instant vanilla pudding with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping and some chopped Oreos to make the filling.
COOL WHIP Oreo Cream Pie
24 Double Stuff Oreos
1/4 cup butter
2 (3.4 oz package) vanilla pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 (8 oz package) COOL WHIP whipped topping
21 Double Stuff Oreos
Combine 24 Oreos and 1/4 cup butter in food processor. Blend until cookies are completely crumbled. Press into a deep dish pie plate.
Combine milk and pudding mixes in a large bowl. Mix until soft set. Roughly chop 12 of the Oreos. Add cool whip and chopped Oreos to pudding. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Garnish with remaining 9 Oreo cookies.
Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
