COOL WHIP Oreo Cream Pie

By Angie McGowan |

My husband has been requesting this pie for a few months, so since yesterday was Father’s Day, I went ahead and made it for him. This is a super easy pie that I’ve been making for years. This time I made it with Double Stuff Oreos, which made it doubly good. I combined instant vanilla pudding with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping and some chopped Oreos to make the filling.

COOL WHIP Oreo Cream Pie

Ingredients

24 Double Stuff Oreos
1/4 cup butter
2 (3.4 oz package) vanilla pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 (8 oz package) COOL WHIP whipped topping
21 Double Stuff Oreos

Instructions

Combine 24 Oreos and 1/4 cup butter in food processor. Blend until cookies are completely crumbled. Press into a deep dish pie plate.

Combine milk and pudding mixes in a large bowl. Mix until soft set. Roughly chop 12 of the Oreos. Add cool whip and chopped Oreos to pudding. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Garnish with remaining 9 Oreo cookies.

Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.

Oh gosh, Oreos are my biggest weakness and when combined with cool whip…. all I can say is DANGEROUS. I’m going to have to make this for a party or something because if I just make it for the family I will end up eating the whole thing!

This looks beyond good, and easy enough even for me to make! What a great thing to bring to a summer potluck! Thanks for the idea- we love Oreos.

If I had all of the ingredients for this in my home right now, I would make it. While my family was sleeping. Because I’m selfish like that. This looks divine. Can’t wait to make it.

Oreos, specifically double stuff are one of my guilty pleasures. And an Oreo cream pie that looks like it it’s a cinch to pull together is completely irresistible to me.
