It was recently confirmed that the handsome Australian Chef Curtis Stone will replace Kelly Choi as the host of Top Chef Masters when the show kicks off its third season later this year. It was also, sadly, confirmed that he has been dating the actress Lindsey Price for over a year. Aside from being easy on the eyes, I like Chef Stone because of his outlook on food. As he says on his website , he prefers to cook with local natural ingredients and is outspoken about his support for organic and locally sourced food. I recently browsed through his recipe index and was thrilled to find an array of healthy vegetables, fruits and meats recipes that were both creative and accessible for the home cook.
An Australian by birth, Chef Stone received his culinary training in London and, prior to being on Top Chef Masters, was the host of “Surfing the Menu,” a successful lifestyle and cooking show. To celebrate Curtis’ new role as the Top Chef Master host here are a few of our own healthy recipes we think he would love:
