Dinner and a Movie: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

By Angie McGowan |

Do you remember The Legend of Sleepy Hollow? The last version I watched was the Johnny Depp one made several years ago. But the old Disney classic of Sleppy Hollow will always be my favorite. It has way less blood and gore, which makes me happy. And that’s because I don’t have to wait for my son to fall asleep to watch it.

For Halloween we wanted to share with you a dinner and movie idea from Food52. Elena, from Food52 has a wonderful idea for an amazingly delicious seasonal dinner to pair with this old classic movie. This would be a great idea if your staying in tonight and waiting for the trick-or-treaters.

Here’s my favorite song from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, “The Headless Horseman Song”.

And here’s 6 dishes that pair perfectly with The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
