What’s the most romantic meal you’ve ever had?
It may not sound romantic, but I’ve learned that being able to find humor in the hard times is extremely romantic to me, so whenever my husband has been able to tell that my week has been especially difficult, or I’m just at my wit’s end, he “cooks” dinner. It is a long-running joke that if he is making dinner, it means he is picking up take-out from our favorite Chinese place and bringing it home. As much as I love to cook, when he takes the time to notice that I need a small break, those are the times when I feel the most loved. Romance isn’t just about the “grand gestures” in life. I think it’s pretty romantic to have someone you can count on, no matter what.
