This homemade pizza takes just minutes to prepare and bake. It’s inexpensive, and as easy as frozen pizza – with less fat and salt. Add some veggie toppings for an extra

nutrition bonus.

Serving Size:

Six 4-inch squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece lavosh [also known as Armenian cracker bread, available in most supermarkets] (11 x 9 inches)
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Place lavosh on baking sheet.

Spread lavosh with sauce, and sprinkle with cheese and oregano.

Bake for 10 minutes, until cheese has melted and lavosh is crispy on edges.
