Who: Aran Goyoaga, Basque ex-pat mother of son, Jon, and daughter, Miren
Why we love this blog: Don’t be intimidated by the French name, the fact that this blogger has her first cookbook coming out in November of this year, or the highly drool-worthy food photos. Goyoaga, a professional photographer and food stylist, is anything but pretentious. The focus here is on fresh ingredients, simple recipes, and encouraging your kids to extend their palate outside the realm of cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. We extend an extra bonus to Goyoaga for making many recipes on the site gluten-free. In a world where those with gluten intolerance frequently concentrate on what they can’t eat, it’s nice to see a delicious resource that celebrates what they can eat.
