Who: Maybelle’s mom, a mother of two living in Cleveland, Ohio
Why we love this blog: Maybelle’s mom (who prefers to keep her name anonymous) never intended to start such a blog so rich in vegan recipes, but when her firstborn was diagnosed with a dairy allergy, the family made radical eating adjustments. Even after discovering that the diagnosis wasn’t accurate, Maybelle’s mom continued preparing the vegan dishes her family had grown to love. Though this blog includes dishes from both the meat- and non-meat-eating sides of the dietary spectrum, the real draws are the family stories that lovingly accompany each dish.
