Who: Rachel Kaganoff Stern, a mom of two based in Los Angeles
Why we love this blog: Cooking truly is a family affair on this blog, as Stern gets her 10- and 13-year-old sons in on the action. Loosely based on a family cookbook Stern created three years ago, this blog focuses strongly on how to make cooking a communal experience that brings people together. Recipes here are peppered with anecdotes about who in Stern’s family is making the food (or who has made it historically) and the significance each recipe plays in her life. Get ready for comfort food and homespun stories.
