Who: Katie Kimball, a mother of three based in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Why we love this blog: The mission is clear: eat well, spend less. This Christian-focused food blog aims to highlight ways parents can cook well, eat healthy, save time, and hang on to their cash. Being a mom herself, Kimball takes a reasonable approach to cooking; sometimes it doesn’t make sense to create everything from scratch. And unlike similar blogs, this one has few hard and fast rules and focuses heavily on the science behind what makes food nutritious. Readers not only understand which foods are healthy but why as well.
