Top 100 Food Mom Blogs, 2011

Some of our favorite things here at Babble are family food blogs and the moms who write them. Custom Recipe for Babble by Naomi

S’mores Thumbprints »

Who: Naomi, mother of one, Ladera Ranch, CA

Why we love her: Naomi’s philosophy on life (and baking) is something we all need to remember: “You don’t have to be the best, you just have to be your best.” Naomi manages to work a full-time job and run a food blog that looks like something off the pages of Martha Stewart Living. And with recipes like samoa cupcakes and dulce de leche cake pops, you’d never guess she’s self-taught, save for the fact that she’s determined to “showcase my failures” in addition to her successes. Though Naomi’s creations may not look like anything near a failure and are actually quite impressive, the recipes are written for the first-time baker, so any of us can follow along. Bakers Royale reminds us just how sweet life can be.
