Top 100 Food Mom Blogs, 2011
Some of our favorite things here at Babble are family food blogs and the moms who write them. From their real-life tips for feeding picky eaters to their 30-minute recipes and overall inspiring approaches, these women give us the tools we need to put dinner (and dessert, lunch, breakfast, snacks:) on the table. So for Babble's second annual Top Food Mom Blogs, we decided to go from 50 to 100 winners. Our food-loving panel made their picks, but we want your feedback, too, so nominate your favorite food mama here.
Check back to see your nominations on our 2012 list next year and, in the meantime, read, write, and link up. Bon App'tit! - The Babble Editors

Not Without Salt | Ashley Rodriguez

Who: Ashley Rodriguez, mother of three, Pacific Northwest
Why we love her: Because she believes that “meals are meant to be savored and enjoyed; good food is simple, fresh and seasonal.” And Ashley isn’t all talk. With impressive credentials that include working with one of the top 10 pastry chefs in America and teaching cooking classes, it’s hard not to take Ashley’s culinary skills seriously. Her drool-worthy photography only confirms our confidence in her recipes like orange-scented scones and fennel-spiced lamb chops.

I really HATE your stupid commercial, I change the channel when it comes on. Having to look at your big fat face and those buck teeth make me sick. You might take good photos but that valley girl persona makes you look like and idiot !!!!!
Ashley, Don’t pay attention to this “IDIOT”. Anyone who has to take time to run down others to make them selves seem better is not worth giving two seconds of thought. Your commercial is what made me want to look up your blog. Keep up the good work.
Hello ashley how are you, i just wanted to say you are beautiful woman. i loved the commercial great photos. i hope we could meet one day johndiamondskincare@yahoo.com.
Right @ Mrs. Anonymous Sep.29…
You, yourself are a disgusting, evil pig, who has absolutely no respect nor moral, knowinng this “Mom” of 3 has worked her *ss off to get where she is, and for you to try & publicly humiliate her on the net is a COWARD act on your part…GET A LIFE & GET A JOB!!!!
Hello,
I never write on these comment sections but the comment below forced me to. Purple is right I have never met Ashley nor had I seen her blog before the commercial, it’s great by the way!, but you must he blind she is a beautiful women and must be doing something right if they chose her to represent their product. Why don’t you post a picture of yourself so we can comment on you?
Congratulations on your successes. Wishing you and your family all the best and continued blessings.
Cooking is like love, it should be entered into with abandon or not at all. Nice blog! hope that you can also check it out my blog too. My book is already release, and I’m just wondering if you guys interested to purchase the book?
http://doubleyourdaddyduties.com/ http://whatsyoexcuse.com you can check it out! Thanks!
I had to laugh at mme. Anonymous. You see, Ashley used to go to my church, and I know her family. I see them at the burger joint in town sometimes, picking up dinner on the run, like any busy mom. She is a thoughtful, kind, delightful, strong, Christian woman, with three adorable children, style coming out her ears, a wonderful talented husband, but I don’t think ANYone who knows her would ever describe her as a Valley Girl. I bet she laughed hard at that one. So thanks for brightening her day, Anonymous. (Oh, and for having the courage to sign your name to your insults. Nothing more sad than a coward. ) -Kat
