Why we love her: Nicole channels her inner Julia Child in a small galley kitchen proving that big flavors can come from small places. Her passion for cooking and pleasing her family shines through every recipe from chorizo stew to chocolate chip cookie dough truffles. As she poignantly writes, “That smell, that love, that anticipation of a delicious snack or comforting meal that is prepared by someone who loves you just melts all the day’s worries away” – we couldn’t agree more. We also love how she makes the laborious process of bread-making sound like a perfectly logical use of time and serves dessert after every dinner.
