The weather here has been holding out. Despite the back-to-school season breathing down on us, the summer sun continues to shine. For us, this means plenty of impromptu neighborhood happy hours and kiddie pool sessions, with bonfires and popsicle treats respectively. Popsicles are always well received, both by parents and kids, especially when they’re made with just two ingredients and no added sugar or fillers.
Easy 2-Ingredient Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles
1 cup honey-sweetened Greek yogurt
1 cup Naked Juice (I used Blue Machine) or other all fruit juice/smoothie
Mix together yogurt and juice. Pour into 3-ounce Dixie cups or popsicle molds. Add in popsicle sticks and freeze at least 4 hours or until firm. Remove from molds and enjoy.
Makes 5-6 small popsicles.
*I found my wooden spoons to use for sticks at Michaels.
*To get the sticks to stand I cover the cups with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and then pop the stick down into the cup. The yogurt also helps it stand up, and if you’re making a few, you probably can skip this step entirely and just place them carefully in the freezer.
