Easy Blooming Daisy Spring Cupcakes

By Ole & Shaina Olmanson |

Spring is coming! That bitter chill is out of the air, and soon the grass will be a lovely shade of green and signs of life will start popping up everywhere. To get in the springtime mood and to celebrate the vernal equinox at 11:21 p.m. on March 20th, which marks the shift from winter to spring, make a few blooming daisy cupcakes with the kids.

To make these adorable daisy cupcakes:
1. Frost the tops of your cupcakes with a fun, spring color.
2. Take a jumbo marshmallow and cut it using a kitchen shears into three or four pieces. These pieces will become the petals for your daisies.
3. Place 5 petals around your frosted cupcakes.
4. Fill the center of your daisy with brightly-colored sprinkles or a round candy.

Ta-da! Flower cupcakes in no time at all.
