Easy COOL WHIP Whoopie Pies

 

 

Whoopie Pies are so much fun to make and eat. I take a shortcut and make  cake box cookies to use as my “whoopie” pie. They’re soft, chewy and pretty much perfect. Not to mention you simply add 2 ingredients to a box of cake mix and in 10 minutes you’ll have these beauties to nosh on. Making them perfect for an everyday dessert, quick after school snack, or even when you just have a craving for something sweet and don’t have time to spend an hour in the kitchen baking.

COOL WHIP Whoopie Pies
What you’ll need: {makes 12 whoopie pies}
1 box Devil’s Food Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
8 ounces COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

What to do:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Into a medium bowl add: cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil. Mix to combine. Mixture will be dough like.

3. Onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with a silpat or parchment paper scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough. Keep dough balls approximately 2″ apart. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.

4. Pipe or scoop desired amount of COOL WHIP onto one cake cookie. Top with additional cake cookie. Continue until all are done.
