Easy Crock Pot Applesauce

2 ingredients and a crock pot {or slow cooker depending on where you are from} are all you need to make deliciously good for you applesauce! My kids love it when I make it for them and I love that they love it and ask for seconds and thirds. Not to mention it gets bonus points for how incredibly good the house smells while it’s cooking away. I use a combination of apples, feel free to use the apples of your choice. You can also add in spices to change things up.

After you’ve made this applesauce, try making CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER

Crock Pot Applesauce
What you’ll need:
8-10 apples – peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – optional

What to do:
1. Place apples into crock pot, cover with water. Set on low. Cook covered for 6-8 hours until apples have softened. Stir occasionally to break up the apples.

NOTE: If you prefer your apples smooth then you may use an immersion blender or blender to achieve this consistency.
