I am doing all that I can to savor peaches this season. Sometimes I bake them into a big fruit cobbler and other times I like to prepare them as simply as possible. The other evening we had a particularly ripe bunch of peaches hanging about and I decided to make my favorite easy-peasy peach dessert. In fact, this is hardly a recipe it’s so easy. I call it my “deconstructed peach pie” because it contains about half of the normal pie ingredients, but all the taste of a peach pie filling. It’s just a combination of sour cream, turbinado sugar and chopped peaches that makes a delightfully sweet bowl of peach deliciousness.
Easy-Peasy Peach Dessert
