Edible Easter Nests
Edible Easter Nests are a quick and easy Easter treat that the kids can make all by themselves. I can remember making them as a child and now I enjoy making them with my kids. They come together in a snap and make an adorable addition to any Easter table scape. They’re even perfect to whip up for treats for school parties.
And if that wasn’t fantastic enough, there are only THREE ingredients: Chow Mein Noodles, chocolate, and whichever candy/chocolates you decide to decorate with. I chose Mini Cadbury Caramel eggs, but jelly beans or even peeps would work well.
Edible Easter Nests
What you’ll need: {makes 6 nests}
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups chow mein noodles
candy of choice to decorate center of nests
What to do:
1. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl {heat according to your microwave settings}
2. Add noodles to bowl. Stir to combine.
3. Place approximately 1/4 cup of mixture onto a silpat {or parchment or wax paper} and form into the shape of a nest while mixture is still warm and pliable. Continue until all nests have been formed. Set aside and allow to set up.
4. Once nests have set decorate with candy of choice.

cute idea!
Love the idea of using Peeps in these chocolate nest. I can imagine those bight spring colors set against the chocolate. YUM!
